At Student Hubs we are thrilled to launch our new offer for our fantastic donors. As a charity, people who donate to our cause are incredibly important to us, and we want to do even more to let donors know what’s happening at Student Hubs, get discounted access to our training and events, and learn more about what we can do to support you.
We have a brand new vision for how we engage with the amazing people who donate to us each month or quarter, and we want you to be a part of this!
Our new donor offer
We know that people donate to us because they support our vision of providing students with accessible and engaging social action opportunities, and how we empower students to become active citizens for life. Our donor network has included Student Hubs’ alumni, former staff members, former trustees and individuals in local Hub communities who are passionate about our mission to mainstream student social action.
We want to do more to actively share with our donors stories from students, community partners and the individuals who benefit from our programmes across Bristol, Cambridge, Kingston, Southampton and Winchester.
So from now on, all monthly and quarterly donors will receive:
- A personalised thank you from us;
- The opportunity to sign up to our donor newsletter, where you can receive exclusive updates, stories and news about our work across the year;
- A 30% discount on tickets for our upcoming webinar series (new for the 2020-21 academic year), featuring training on topics such as employability, skill development, charity operations and more.
We also have a very on-brand orange themed donation tier!
Although we are excited about this, we also recognise that times are tough currently, so please only donate if you have the means to do so. You can sign up to donate here.
Our enthusiasm and energy for our alumni network extends much further than donations, and there are plenty of other (free!) ways you can support us too. If you want to support us and our work, you can run a fundraiser, contribute an opinion piece for our blog, or get involved in our soon to be announced Alumni Ambassador scheme. If any of those are of interest, please do get in touch with Fiona Walsh at fiona.walsh@www.studenthubs.org.
Supporting our alumni and champions
In a year where nothing is certain, we’ve seen the power of community and are passionate about exploring more avenues to bring alumni and champions of Student Hubs together. We want to use the power of our network, and to provide opportunities for our alumni and champions to use our platform, connect with others, and better understand how we can support you.
We will be announcing more plans around these initiatives soon, so look out for those and in the meantime, stay safe, stay connected, and we look forward to sharing our updates in the upcoming months.
