We are thrilled to confirm that we will be running our webinar series for the 2021-22 academic year, and we have a brand new ticketed line-up for staff in the university and charity sector, and a free line-up for students.
What we’re delivering
Based on our attendee feedback, conversations inside and outside of our events this year, and pilot sessions held during the Spring/Summer term, we have pulled together a new line-up for the whole year. Unlike last year, we have two different formats being delivered across alternate months for both our paid sessions and free sessions of webinars and workshops.
Webinars: Our webinars are 1 hour sessions held at 3-4pm; they enable you to learn best practice, ask questions and reflect on how to embed learnings and actions from the session into your work and activities in the short-term and long-term.
Workshops: Our workshops enable you to network with other peers, learn best practice, discuss and share challenges with others, and take part in guided activities or reflection which will support your work. Our ticketed staff workshops will be held from 10am-12pm on their chosen days, and our free student workshops will be held from 3pm-4.30pm on their chosen day.
See our line-up for staff training and student training below:
You can book our paid staff training on Eventbrite now, our free student sessions will be live before the end of August and all graphics will be available for staff to share through your social media and networks with your student cohorts who may want to sign up. We will also be asking students to confirm which university they attend, so we can better understand which students are signing up from which institutions.
Pricing and format
As we are rolling out the webinars all year round and introducing an alternative format with our workshop offering, we have a brand new pricing plan for our paid sessions for staff in higher education and third sector.
Individual session tickets:
- Webinar tickets are £20 for a 1 hour session
- Workshop tickets are £35 for a 2 hour session
Packages:
We are also introducing packages, which enable you to buy access to our whole offering for the year – perfect to buy in advance to spread out your professional development across the year, low cost and equivalent to a conference, with 8 sessions and 12 hours of content to engage with and take part in.
Our packages start from £200 for full access across the year, and the package cost reduces across the year the later you purchase access. Our Eventbrite pages also include a breakdown of what each session will cover and why you should attend – perfect for easily submitting for approval as part of your professional development budget.
Our 21-22 all year package includes 8 months of webinar and workshop delivery. All sessions are recorded and all webinars and workshops include resource sheets and activity packs, so you will be able to access development resources, networking opportunities and sector learning across the year.

Training sessions and packages for your students and staff
We are also pleased to announce that we have confirmed our training offer for the 2021-22 academic year, where we have also introduced brand new packages of training which you can buy from the Student Hubs team, to be delivered either across 1-2 days or over the course of a term/year.
All of our webinars and workshops can be purchased by your organisation for us to deliver, and our training offer has an even more diverse range of opportunities for students, higher education staff, third sector staff, or early career/graduate staff. Our training offer can be found here.
Individual sessions can be bought by universities, third sector organisations, or other organisations from £300. Our package of 4 training sessions is £1000 (a discount of £200), and our package of 6 training sessions is £1500.
We are also asking organisations to register their interest through this form for our Worthwhile cohort offer (£1500 for 6 months of training for early career/graduate staff with 0-2 years experience), running from October 2021 to March 2022.
We’re open for bookings now – please get in touch with Fiona Walsh, Sales Director at fiona.walsh@www.studenthubs.org to enquire and book your training needs.
