After 16 years of student social action Student Hubs closed our doors in January 2025. We have had the pleasure of learning so much about the power of effective active citizenship, and our legacy work captured this magic – we still believe in the case for student social action and cannot wait to see your work continuing to support active citizens.
Universities: For our colleagues in the Higher Education sector we have created three toolkits outlining our recommendations for engaging student leaders, working with community partners and delivering high quality social action activities.
Community organisations: In addition to our existing One Community Forum toolkit we have released three resources. One to support community organisations to work well with student volunteers, and two to support your approach to people and culture.
Students: Learnings from the past 16 years to support students to continue their work leading and making change. This includes a general guides to volunteering and incubation, and workbooks on accessibility, campaigning and leadership skills.
