Students are at the heart of what we do. We believe that when students are supported to learn about social issues and themselves, connect with other students and their local community, and do something to tackle social challenges through the framework of our activities there is a double benefit. Communities benefit from the added capacity, new perspectives and community cohesion they bring – and students benefit from improved critical engagement, wellbeing, skills for live and student experience.
If you’re a student and you’re interested in our work you can check out your local Hub to find out how you can get more involved.
If we don’t currently work at your institution and you want to find out more about what we do, and how to bring it to your university, send us an email at fiona.walsh@studenthubs.org – we’d love to chat!
We run training series across the year which are open for students to participate outside of our Hub network. If you’re a UK based student or a university/Student Union staff member coordinating student training, you may be interested in our Student Leadership series, Campaigning and Advocacy series, or Innovation series. See our training page for more information.
